Dear Friends and Family,

  

       I am writing to you on behalf of Sally Kelley who Is one of our swim team moms, her daughter Hope is a sophomore and swims on our team as well as the Walpole High School Team.  As you may know, Sally has been battling with a reoccurrence of cancer that has spread to her liver and bones.  She has undergone extensive treatments of chemotherapy, and unfortunately, the outcome hasn’t been as positive as her doctors had hoped.

 

       While Sally will continue with a different chemotherapy, she is also seeking alternative therapies aimed at keeping her body strong for the fight.  Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any alternative treatments.  Any funds will come directly “out of pocket” from the Kelley’s.  As you can imagine, this is extremely overwhelming and costly to their family.

 

       To help with this our $4 entry fee for the first meet on Dec 5^th will be donated to “The Friends of Sally Kelley Fund” to help fund continued treatments.  Any donation above and beyond would greatly ease the Kelley's financial burdens and make it possible for Sally to continue treatments throughout this coming year.

 

     As Sally continues this battle with cancer, many are at a loss as to how to support her.  So many of you have asked how you can help and we think donating to this fund will go a long way toward helping the Kelley’s pay for these alternative  therapies that will increase the quality of Sally's life. 

 

    As always, the Kelley’s are thankful to all of you who have already done so much.  We ask that during this Holiday Season you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  They appreciate everyone’s kindness and generosity.
