Come with the Team to the Beach July 27th!

This annual outing is a fun day on a beautiful beach with friends and family. We meet at Center Pool at 7:30 AM and form a convoy to keep everyone on the right path.  If you are coming later, park to the right of the concession stand - we stake out a spot straight in from that side.  You need a picnic lunch, munchies, and all those beach provisions so necessary to a day of sun, surf, and sand. There is a concession stand on the beach so lunches may be purchased there. Much to our dismay the parking for the beach is $20.00/ car. If team members are car-pooling with other families, it would be appropriate for them to share the parking expenses. It is a great time for all. JOIN US!!!

Second Beach, Newport RI

DIRECTIONS: Take I - 95 south into Providence

Using the left - hand lanes, take I - 195 East

Exit onto Rt24 heading South

Exit Rt. 24 onto Rt. 138 (Ramada Motel)

Follow Rt. 138 into Middletown and then on into

Newport. There are signs for the Beach as

you enter Newport. We will have our beach

head at SECOND BEACH

Many of us turn left at the Mobil station

across from the Rhode Island Nurseries in

Middletown. We take a left at the Fire

Station and a right on the next street after

the Fire Station. If you've done it

correctly, this road goes directly to the beach.

A left turn at the Y- intersection brings you

directly to the parking lot entrance.
