The Walpole Swim Team has been around for quite a long time.
In our many years there have been countless ways in which swimmers and their
parents have touched the lives of all of us and our community. Through
time we've seen many life long friendships evolve, the spirit of competition
thrive, and the love this sport pass along to new generations.
However we've also experience the loss of some of those who've been amongst us.
Each of our friends that traveled along life's path and followed that path
through the gates of Center Pool will always be lovingly remembered and sorely
missed.
The Walpole Swim Team has always supported the community of
Walpole and the community has supported us as well. In the spirit of
this support and remembering our friends the Walpole Swim Team has
sponsored and made contributions to several scholarship funds. These
scholarships are available to Walpole students and we will continue to
contribute to their success.
Please read the biographies of Chris Vlahos and Helen Parlon,
our first two friends for which scholarship funds have been established.
And, if you are able, please help these funds grow so that we may continue
to support the students in our community for many years to come.
